After two years in Berlin, where she earned her master’s degree at Catalyst University, renowned Croatian artist Maja Posavec returns with a bold new project: "Leaving a Lover", a conceptual album and multidisciplinary performance under her artistic alias POMA.
Blending folk, jazz, poetry, and theatrical storytelling, this immersive event at ZKM will mark the premiere of an emotionally rich and imaginative new world. Through seven songs representing seven stages of heartbreak, POMA explores feminine identity, freedom, and transformation—drawing inspiration from fairy tales, myths, and personal truths.
Backed by top Croatian musicians, including Ivan Kapec, Borko Rupena, and Hrvoje Galler, Maja offers not just an album launch but an intimate artistic journey.
