Baltic International Cultural Park Faktoria

Baring a keen resemblance to the Lusatian reconstruction at Biskupin, Pruszcz Gdański's Faktoria is a reconstruction of the ancient amber trade village and the Amber Route from the Roman period. Historically, the waters in the area are connected to the Radunia river and northwards to the sea, and archaeological evidence has proven that this area was once a thriving hinterland settlement.

This open-air museum consists of:
• The Chief Hut – hosting a permanent exhibition
• The Market Hall – a place for ‘historic meetings’
• The Amber Craftsman Hut
• The Blacksmith Hut

Populated with living historians and with countless other pre-modern workshops and events happening throughout the year, Faktoria is perfect for young families and folks of all ages who enjoy the experience of tangeable history. Part of the site's offer also includes kayak rental, which allows you to peruse up and down the Radunia like times of old!
