<p>The Polski Chór Kameralny conducted by Jan Łukaszewski will perform Krzesimir Dębski’s ‘Misterium’ at St. Mary’s Basilica in Gdańsk in honor of the 1050th Anniversary of Poland’s Christening. In this unique new piece of music, which the Polski Chór Kameralny commissioned just for this occasion, Dębski encompasses Christian tradition from ancient Gregorian chanting to modern composers like K. Penderecki. You’ll hear instruments not typically used in religious songs; in addition to Krzesimir Dębski himself (violin) and the Polski Chór Kameralny conducted by Jan Łukaszewski, the performers include Krzysztof Ścierański (bass guitar), Bogusław Grabowski (organs), Norik Minasyan (duduk) and Barbara Merdinger (mandolin).</p>
