The National Museum of Gdańsk invites visitors to Olga Boznańska and… Polish Painting of the 19th and Early 20th Century at the Department of Modern Art in Pałac Opatów in the district of Gdańsk Oliwa. This exhibition unveils rarely seen masterpieces from the Museum’s collection, showcasing the evolution of Polish art from Romanticism to Young Poland. Featuring works by Olga Boznańska, Jacek Malczewski, Stanisław Wyspiański, and others, the display highlights artistic diversity and national identity. Complemented by early 20th-century photography and contemporary reflections by Katarzyna Swinarska, the exhibition runs through March 29, 2026, celebrating the enduring legacy of Polish modernism.
