The old town has been crying out for a place like this – Old Gdansk Pub really ought to be called Slightly Older and more mature Gdansk pub to reflect the clientele. Live music on Fridays and Saturdays from 19:00 pulls them into this small space where concerts include Jazz, Blues, Rock or sometimes Folk music and they pull in a variety of local and foreign guests happy to relax with a glass of wine, one of the 30 bottled beers, a shot from the generous selection of spirits or some of the simple bar food as their moods are mellowed by the music. The fact that our last visit saw different groups of people popping in all the while to book tables for the following evening should tell you it’s worth a look if that’s your thing.
