Inspired by the cuisines of sun-drenched regions of Greece, Italy, and elsewhere across the Mediterranean, Ulu is built around the idea of “returning to the roots” of simple, high-quality ingredients, natural flavours and the shared table as the heart of the dining experience. The menu encourages sharing, with mezze-style starters such as hummus, feta with nuts and grapes, and roasted pepper muhammara, alongside larger plates and pitas with falafel or grilled halloumi. Fresh vegetables, herbs and spices shape the flavours, while desserts like Greek doughnuts and kataifi complete a relaxed, sociable dining experience in this ideally-located restaurant on the atmospheric Motława River in Gdańsk Old Town.
