Afropunk Battle of the Bands Soweto

Leading up to Joburg’s first Afropunk festival, the Afropunk Battle of Bands brings four hopeful local alternative music groups together to contend for the chance to play on the big stage alongside top music stars like Solange, Laura Mvula and The Brother Moves On this New Year's Eve.

Co-hosted by His and Hers Jams and Lebo’s Soweto Backpackers, this is an awesome opportunity to come experience Soweto’s underground music scene and cheer on your favourite band.
