Until the end of 2018 Constitution Hill hosts a multi-disciplinary group exhibition by students from the University of Johannesburg. The exhibition is hosted inside the Old Fort section of the Constitution Hill site and explores themes of identity and belonging, looking particularly at the politics surrounding race, appearance, hair and self-expression. Utilising a variety of media including photography, print and video as well as unusual materials such as rope and animal hides, the student artists explore the dynamics of identity politics, heritage and culture in South Africa.
