Don't miss out on this special tour of Constitution Hill's Number Four prison block (now a museum) that looks specifically at what happened to the youth leaders who were arrested during the Soweto riots of 1976.

The tour is led by Flo Bird, chairwoman of the Heritage Foundation, and Seth Mazibuko, one of the leaders of the June 16 uprising who was detained at the Number Four prison block for nearly a year. The tour starts at the Old Fort in Constitution Hill and gives candid, first-hand insights into what it was like to be a political prisoner here.

Booking is essential. Tour lasts approximately 2.5 hours. The meeting point for the start of the tour is the entrance to the tunnel at the Old Fort on Kotze Street.
