In an exciting development for the city Open Studios Joburg, launched in 2022, will this year partner with Joburg's newest art fair, RMB Latitudes 2023. OpenStudios.Joburg is set to open up Joburg's rich artist studio spaces throughout the inner city on Sat, May 27 and Sun, May 28, with an expanded line-up of artist spaces.

This year's programme features around 10 artist studios, buildings and project spaces across Joburg's CBD, with shuttles from Shepstone Gardens where the RMB Latitiudes Fair will be located, moving between the different locations.

It means that you can safely explore the city while also revelling in the work of Joburg's incredible artists, visit intimate artist studios usually not open to the public, and also get a sense of the process behind artworks. It's an opportunity to buy affordable artworks from a diverse range of artists, plus so much more. Open Studios is also a lively social occasion with plenty of events studded onto the programme – and great for families too. 

Transport by shuttles will leave every 20 minutes, until 16:00.
