In this exhibition Pires uses sculptures and drawings to create a whimsical mirror of society with a razor edge, a doppelganger of our everyday world. Using a variety of unusual methods Pires has created a distorted mirror of the present filled with mundane objects given an otherworldly character by for example using the sparks produced by grinding metal to burn his images onto paper.<br /> Opening event Thu Dec 1 at 18:00.
