Timed to coincide with the annual Art Week Joburg, this family-friendly art festival presented by the St Teresa School, promises a packed art talks programme plus art workshops catering to kids from age 4 through to young high school and varsity students. The art workshops cover a wide variety of mediums ranging from painting to virtual reality, printmaking, screen-printing, etching, origami and watercolour. As well as the art workshops and talks there are also pop-up exhibitions, affordable art prints, illustrations and ceramics on sale and a choice of delicious food stalls and food trucks.

Speakers on the art talks programme lineup include artists Marco Cianfanelli, Lady Skollie, Thenjiwe Nkosi, Hannelie Coetzee and Rasty Knayles, art historian Wilhelm van Rensburg and curator Aysha Waja. All art talks are included in the ticket price although it is advisable to reserve your place online to avoid disappointment. Art workshops cost from R40 for a clay workshop to R250 for screen printing workshops and can be booked online.
