The folks at Delta Central partnered with us for the 2024 edition; their location next to Delta Park – one of the best places to see Joburg's cosmos flowers – made them an easy choice. A R1,000 voucher to spend at Coalition pizzeria is for our second-place winner, while first prize is a night's stay for two at The Cliffside boutique getaway worth R4,000.
We noted early in the season that the cosmos flowers were not as bountiful as previously so we extended the borders of our competition to the whole of South Africa. Everything comes together to breathtaking effect in Andrew Cleland's second-place winning photograph for our #CosmosInYourPocket 2024 competition. We love the light through the delicate pink petals, with crisp cosmos flowers foregrounding the Joburg skyline.
