David Krut Project presents a retrospective exhibition of works by the acclaimed Ethiopian photographer Aida Muluneh. A combination of images drawn from various exhibitions by the artist from the five years, the collection on display includes works from The 99 Series, The Wolf You Feed, and The World is 9 series as well as photographs from her most recent body of work, Wings that soar. Over the years Muluneh has made it her mission to present in her striking self-portraits a balanced perspective of the African community and particularly to change the photographic narrative relating to her home country Ethiopia.
