Chorus of Orphans is a theatrical performance with orchestra, solo soprano and actors, directed by Jerzy Zoń, scenography by Joanna Jaśko-Sroka and music by Henryk Mikołaj Górecki. Not a single word is uttered during the performance - choir does not sing. Actors dressed in identical uniforms move in a synchronized manner, their emotions expressed solely by movements. The entire III Symphony by Górecki is played from the beginning to the end of the performance, leaving the audience deeply moved.
