The old Polish capital is jaw-droppingly gorgeous at any time of year, but imagine all those beautiful buildings strewn with lights and (possibly?) dusted with snow. Although Kraków's Christmas Market will have already been open a full week, some might argue that the holiday season doesn't officially start until the holiday lights get plugged in. Or unplugged and officially plugged in again. At any rate, if you want to really feel the Christmas spirit, come to Rynek and watch this festive ceremony!
