Kraków had always been home to artists - Stanisław Wyspiański, Leon Chwistek, Witkacy, Tadeusz Kantor, just to name a few. Wiesław Dymny was certainly one of them. A painter, sculptor, poet, lyricist, scriptwriter, actor and writer, Dymny considered creating a part of everyday reality. Co-founder of the cult Piwnica pod Baranami, he performed there throughout his life. The exhibit features many of Wiesław Dymny's works, among them portraits of his second wife, the actress Anna Dymna. Displayed are his paintings, collages, drawings, design projects, scenography designs, and photographs, allowing a glimpse into this fascinating Kraków personality.
