Juwenalia is definitely an event one should not miss! This annual holiday for Polish university students is usually celebrated in May, before the summer exams. The tradition of celebrating Juwenalia goes all the way back to the 15th century in Kraków and it involves three days of fun, filled with concerts, parties and, yes, drinking. It customarily begins with a triumphant parade of colorfully dressed students marching from a college's campus to the city's Main Square (Rynek), where in a symbolic gesture, the president of Kraków will hand the keys to the city's gates to the students. This year the costume challenge is 'military' so let your creative juices flow! Join the funkiest parade of the year!
