<strong>Film: <em>Gravehopping</em> (2005); directed by Jan Cvitkovič</strong><br /> This rooftop film screening is presented by the ICC as a complementary event to the <a href="https://www.inyourpocket.com/krakow/adriatic-epopee-ivan-mestrovic_7363e">Adriatic Epopee exhibit</a>. While the exhibit's focus is Croatia, <em>Gravehopping</em> reaches over (just a little bit) into Slovenia. Pardon the confusion, we reckon the ICC allowed themselves this little liberty because the film is <em>just that good</em>—it won the Cinema Without Borders Critics' Award at the South East European Film Festival in 2007 and was also Slovenia's submission of choice to in the Best Foreign Film category at the 2007 Academy Awards. Non-Polish or Slovenian speakers take note: while the rooftop experience is worth it in and of itself, we're not sure whether the film will be subtitled in only Polish or English as well.
