Nakielny & Wentzl

Kraków's famous name-brand Wentzl restaurant - which traces it history back to the 18th century - has been given new life in association with Nakielny, and made more accessible to us all. This historic 15th century building boasts some of the best views and most beautiful interiors in town, plus seating directly on the market square (heated in autumn/winter). Given an injection of modernity from Nakielny, plus the benefit of their delicious coffee and sweet confections, this space can be enjoyed by more people, particularly those not necessarily looking for Kraków's most exclusive dining opportunity. The menu is more broad in terms of cuisine, and now includes a range of breakfast sets, sandwiches and European standards, plus a kids menu. As a result it's certainly more affordable, and if you're not that hungry, simply go for a coffee and dessert and enjoy those amazing views of St. Mary's Basilica.
