The glorious phoenix risen out of the flames of cult hangout Forum Przestrzenie, Ośma Rano carries on the former's tradition of good food + good company = great vibes. Located in a beautiful townhouse opposite the Planty, this simple but stylish locale locks in on breakfast and brunch, serving a range of contemporary sweet and savoury options, from waffles loaded with yummy ingredients to Turkish-style eggs. From 12:00, the menu expands to include a range of Italian-influenced lunch entrees, and the hipsters rejoice - particularly the vegans and vegetarians who are well cared for here. As the name implies, this venture is open from 8, and likewise closes at 8, but not before the after work crowd gives the staff a break from Insta-worthy pink matchas and gives them some cocktail practice. Creme-coloured and full of natural light from the massive streetside windows, the entire aesthetic here is quite appetising, and there's heart behind it too.
