Bodo Kox—creator of The Girl From the Wardrobe; and known to many as the filmmaker who carved out a space for Polish sci-fi—is back at it again with his newest release, The Man With the Magic Box. The film is a science-fiction love story, set in the not-so-distant-future. It follows the story of a man suffering from memory loss, whose life gets turned upside down when he meets a beautiful woman, and finds an old radio exhibiting some rather strange qualities. The film, which received a special mention for its script in the 2017 edition of the prestigious ScripTeast competition held in Cannes, will be screened with English subtitles.
