The three greatest film composers of all time come together as one for this very special event at the Tauron Arena in Kraków.

German-born Hans Zimmer is the ultimate reference for the modern-day film score. His academy-award-winning works are notable for integrating electronic music sounds with traditional orchestral arrangements, something that he pioneered in the 1980s and would go on to feature strongly in films like Crimson Tide and Inception. His most notable works have spanned almost every film genre, from The Lion King, Madagascar, The Thin Red Line, Gladiator, Interstellar and The Dark Knight Trilogy.

Italian-born Ennio Morricone's experimental style of composition has made him a huge influence on everyone from Hans Zimmer to the likes of Dire Straits, Metallica, Radiohead and many others in the popular music world. His trademark style of guitar-and-whistling has become synonymous with the Spaghetti-Western genre of the 1960s, most notably the films of Sergio Leone - Fistfull Of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. The reputation of his emotive film scores continued to flourish with Once Upon a Time in America, The Mission and Cinema Paradiso. Continuing to work well into the 21st Century, director Quentin Tarantino collaborated with Morricone to re-visit his spag-western style in The Hateful Eight, whose score earned the film an academy award.

There is no need for a formal introduction for the legacy that is known as John Williams. Star Wars, Superman and Indiana Jones are all instantly-recognisable themes that are a testament to his ability to compose timeless motifs. In fact, he is so good at writing memorable tunes that three of his theme-songs have been featured in the US Billboard Charts. With 52 Oscar nominations, Williams currently holds the record for the most Oscar nominations for a living person. It's remarkable that he's only ever won 5! From the adventurous soundtracks of Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Jurassic Park and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial to the emotive scores of Schindler's List, Saving Private Ryan and The Book Thief, he is a true force of nature and, at age 88, he still hasn't called it a day!
