The emergency room in PL is called SOR, and should only be visited if it is really necessary. In less urgent crises, please visit a private clinic.

This Emergency Room in the 'Szpital Uniwersytecki' on ul. Kopernika was the closest to Kraków's Old Town for decades - so close you could actually walk there from the market square if, well, it wasn't an emergency. From 2020 however they are moving the emergency services to a new facility in Prokocim outside of Kraków.
