The traditional annual New Year's Concert, takes place on the first evening of the year in NDK's Hall 1. The Festival Symphony Orchestra will be conducted by Emil Tabakov, and the  soloists include; Mincho Minchev (the virtuoso violinist) and the young cellist Sion Naiman. In the Program: Fascinating works by Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, Vladigerov, Offenbach, Gershwin, Khachaturian and others.
