Baron Franz von der Trenck (1711-1749), known in Croatian as Barun Trenk, was a Prussian soldier with a colourful (and rather macabre) reputation for great bravery, cruelty and disobedience. He had large estates in Croatia, and spent much of his life in Požega. Thanks to analysis of his mummified remains, animation and special effects, this exhibition tells you more about his life than perhaps you wished to know!
