The European Solidarity Centre presents a collection of June 4th, 1989 campaign posters which used Lech Wałęsa's image together with various democratic candidates. The idea, conceived by the legendary Polish director Andrzej Wajda and Solidarity advisor, Bronisław Geremek, turned out to be wildly successful, helping the so called Lech's team win 260 political mandates, thus becoming symbols of communism defeat in Europe. The posters' authors were Erazm Ciołek and Jarosław M. Goliszewski, aided by Jerzy Kośnik and Maciej Laprus.
