A classic opera fairy tale, set during the Christmas season, is yet another masterpiece of the genre that the whole family can enjoy. E.T.A Hoffmann's story of friendship, dedication and great courage presents many a lesson to remind the audience of what is most important, and, through Tchaikovsky's musical wonder, the fantastical world of the girl who befriends a nutcracker who must battle the evil Mouse King comes to life in this opera classic. Staging for this production in Gdańsk was prepared by world-class producers, most notably the renowned choreographer Francois Mauduit and the talented set designer Justin Arienti. The Nutcracker is a spectacle perfect for long winter evenings - beautiful music, dance and scenery will warm the hearts of all viewers!
