During the winter season, Kraków's Barbican - the centerpiece of the city's medieval defenses - is transformed into 'Fairytale Barbican' - an after-dark family attraction full of large illuminated figures, magic mirrors and colourful projections where kids can learn the stories of, and even place themselves into some of Kraków's most famous legends. Entries are timed and good for 30mins so that the legends can be played in different languages (Polish, English, Russian and Spanish); English entries are at 17:00, 18:30, 20:30 and 21:30.
