The highlights of this year's Kraków Opera Summer Festival include a performance of Leonard Bernstein's Candide directed by Michał Znaniecki, the return of Gioachino Rossini's The Barber of Seville directed by Jerzy Stuhr, and three great concerts. The first one will be devoted to two great composers: Gustav Mahler and Richard Strauss. The next one will take the audience on a tour of the world's greatest opera arias, during which such great artists as Katarzyna Oleś-Blacha, Monika Korybalska, Ewa Vesin, Tomasz Kuk, Adam Szerszeń and Wojciech Gierlach will be heard. The third concert will be devoted to the world's greatest opera choirs, who will fill with their voices the Renaissance courtyard within Wawel Castle.
