Istvan Oros (born October 24, 1951 in Kecskemét) is a world famous Hungarian graphic designer, illustrator and director of animated films. He graduated from the Hungarian University of Art and Design under Istvan Balogh and Ernő Rubik in 1975. He began his career as a designer and animator. Since 1984 he uses the artist name OYTIΣ or Utisz (the secret name of Ulysses in the famous legend of the Cyclops) and is meanwhile one of the most influential names in the world of poster design.
