National Maritime Museum - Main Branch

  ul. Ołowianka 9-13, Gdańsk ,   Old Town          (+48) 58 301 86 11     14 Jul 2020
If you only have time to visit one of the four branches of Gdańsk's Maritime Museum, make it this one - the main branch and most comprehensive of the lot, located inside three Renaissance granaries across the river from the Crane. A complete history of Poland's nautical history is represented on several floors and includes old cannons, huge oil paintings, harpoon guns, a hall dedicated to underwater archaeology, shipbuilders' hard hats from the Lenin Shipyard, a few pieces of modern art and an extensive collection of model ships. Information is available in English.

NOTE on Ticket Prices:
Keep in mind that combined tickets are available for the museum-owned granaries, Sołdek ship museum, the Crane and the Maritime Cultural Centre for 30/20 zł (without interactive exhibition). Another combined ticket for Granaries, "Sołdek" ship museum and the Crane costs 25/16zł. A regular ticket for the Granaries costs 12/8zł and is free on Wednesdays.
