October is in full swing and we've only just been surviving the heat. It's still not as hot as Joburg's art scene though, here are the exhibitions you don't want to miss this week!

Book now – The Johannesburg Contemporary Art Foundation brings together the works of Frida Kahlo, Amrita Sher-Gil and Irma Stern for the first time in South Africa with Modernist Identities. A must see this groundbreaking exhibition has limited space so book now!
First Thursdays – Enjoy a drink and performances at We Are Culture's First Thursday event at Standard Bank Gallery.
Until Mar 2023 – Get lost in Keiskamma Art Project's intricate tapestries at Constitution Hill with their exhibition Umaf’ evuka, nje ngenyanga
