After suddenly closing their food hall over the winter, Hala Forum is back, though not quite what it used to be. Perhaps that’s for the best? After pushing out the beloved Forum Przestrzenie, what started out as a hip riverside hangout on the ground floor of the Forum Hotel expanded out of control and eventually evolved into a bad Patryk Vega film with increasingly kitsch decor, botox clientele and hairless, muscled bouncers. Despite the amazing location, locals had turned on the place, but that hardly dented its popularity as people poured in from the provinces to be seen here in their evening best. It all came to a screeching halt in February when hundreds of employees were suddenly fired without warning and the place shut down.
