Maria Skłodowska-Curie - 'Polish Queen of Sciences' Mural

  ul. Grzegórzecka 39 ,   Kazimierz         24 Feb 2026
One of six such murals in various cities across Poland, this radiant mural celebrates the scientific accomplishments of Maria Skłodowska-Curie. Created in February 2026 in a collaboration between Orlen - the Polish gas and oil company, and the Maria Skłodowska-Curie Museum in Warsaw, this unique mural was created with florescent paint and is illuminated with black lights - creating a glowing affect like no other mural in Kraków. Designed by Aleksandra Marchocka and executed by Good Looking Studio, the mural is striking by day, but absolutely electric at night - seek it out on an evening walk.

Directly next to it is a second mural, titled 'Hermes Leading the Heroes to Hades.'
