Mastercard OFF Camera Film Festival is your yearly chance to catch up on independent movies, underground cult masterpieces, and up-and-coming filmmakers. The festival usually revolves around Kino Pod Baranami, with a fair number of screenings taking place at Kino Kijów and various small cinemas around the city. Best of all, Mastercard OFF Camera is accessible to everyone thanks to free outdoor screenings in public places; in 2022 these free outdoor screenings will take place on Plac Szczepański, Rynek Podgórski, the square in front of Galeria Krakowska and in front of the Nowa Huta Cultural Centre (NCK). Most indoor screenings of foreign films include both PL and EN subtitles; entries to the Polish film competition will have both English and Ukrainian subtitles; outdoor screenings generally have PL susbtitles only.
