As usual, the city takes care of its people when it comes to providing free entertainment options for NYE. Last year, some changes were made to the super-extraordinary NYE extravaganzas that had been previously organised across the city, but as it turns out, those changes were well received by Cracovians and visitors alike. It just goes to show there's no shortage of magic in this city to tap into if you're searching to ring in the New Year with flair, wherever your diverse preferences may take you. There's truly something for everyone—provided you can get to it through all the crowds. Depending on whether you have small children or pets with sensitive ears (or if you yourself have sensitive ears), you might take this news differently: for the second year in a row, the city has also opted out of organising a fireworks display, instead focusing on providing loads of entertainment and concerts. This year's performers include Quebonafide, Otsochodzi, BOKKA, KAMP! and Flirtini providing hip-hop, electronic, and alternative pop music. There will also be two smaller stages at Plac Wolnica in Kazimierz with remixed Polish folk music and ethnic vibes while on Róż avenue in Nowa Huta there will be a return to the 80's with live DJs.
