This free outdoor exhibition near the Eagle Pharmacy is derived from the Arolsen Archives - an international center on Nazi persecution with the world’s most comprehensive archive on the victims and survivors of National Socialism, including information on about 17.5 million people. #StolenMemory is part of an international educational campaign whose goal is to increase knowledge about Nazi crimes. The archived documents give back the identities to the victims that were stolen by the Nazis during WWII. The exhibition is a constant reminder of the atrocities committed by the Nazis, and a warning to future generations.
