Lick it!
If you're in 's-Hertogenbosch you shouldn't leave without sending an old-fashioned postcard home. And what could be better than to adorn the card with a special postage stamp of the most beautiful building in the city? Over the past decade, St. John's Cathedral has undergone substantial renovations. After being covered in scaffolding for years, this project is now complete. To celebrate this, the cathedral has been given its own stamp. The stamp features a photo of the south side, taken in the morning, from the Parade. The photo is unique because the trees on the left side of the Parade have grown so much over the years that it's now impossible to take a similar picture with an open view of the south side. The self-adhesive stamps can be bought – while supplies of the 227,500 sheets last – via www.collectclub.nl or at all Bruna stationary shops.
