St Nicholas’ Church [Crkva sv. Nikole]

This little church at the Ploče end of Prijeko was originally built in simple, pre-romanesque style typical for early Middle Ages Dalmatia; a late renaissance frontage was added in 1607. Inside, you can see stone ornaments in an interlocking style reminiscent of Celtic knotwork called pleter, which is typical of early Croatian churches, plus a fine painting of the Madonna dating back to the 13th century.

I ate at Domino with a friend in early May and had a totally different experience! We both reckoned the steak we had was better than a number of Argentinean steak places we've been to in the UK and The Netherlanns - the meat was so tender. Prices were reasonable, service good. Would not hesitate to go back there again!

My wife and I ate in Domino restaurant. The meal was relatively expensive, the meat was tough as old boots and we had to send one of the meals back. We have been suffering with food poisoning and upset stomachs ever since. It totally spoilt our holiday. Avoid it like the plague.

I was there when the priest was celebrating his 50th anniversary. It was an honor. I thought it was strange the pews didn't have seats or kneelers. We stood the whole time but it was fine. It was so nice being in such a very old church. I would love to return.
