While the crowds have been rushing to Opatija since the beginning of the 20th century, there are a few little jewels modestly hiding their light in the surroundings. It’s not that these places are undiscovered, as you’ll find when you get there. It’s just that not so many people know about them. But they are definitely worth making a detour for.
