About 35km southeast of Zagreb, Ivanić Grad was first recognized as a city in 1246 and developed into a prime cattle raising and industrial area. It's home to a surprising number of historical monuments, and has a long tradition of athletic prowess and appreciation making it a great spot to take in one of the numerous year-round events taking place.
