Platak

From the highest slope at Platak, near Rijeka, on a clear day you can see the Adriatic, with the islands of Krk, Cres and Lošinj laid out in front of you. That's why many Croatians vote it the best place to ski in the country.  It's a little further than Bjelolasica: on the A3 Zagreb-Rijeka motorway, take the Čavle exit (Autmotodrom and Sportski Aerodrom) and turn left - it's another 15 km. Your can buy seasonal sky-pass which is valid for the period from November 10 - December 15. Prices: kids 800kn, students 990kn and adults 1300kn.
