The big daddy of Bosnia’s museums, Sarajevo’s National Museum is one big love letter to this most remarkable country. The museum was closed for a while due to the usual problems but reopened in 2015, making its three million plus artefacts available to the public once more. The famous Sarajevo Haggadah is found here, along with a variety of permanent exhibitions covering everything from the natural world to 19th century Bosnian society.
