Just south of the centre, the history of this club dates back to the 20s and offers pilot certification and training courses. Despite a sizable fleet of aircraft and hot-air balloons they float to bring in money from advertisers, the Aeroklub doesn't really do joyrides. So, sadly, unless you're a certified pilot, you're grounded. Still, it's a picturesque area surrounded by Katowice Forest Park and there's just something so dreamy about watching small aircraft taking off and landing on a grass field.
