Ganesh
Ethnic eating in Łódź usually ends in food poisoning, though that’s just not the case with Ganesh. We’ve eaten in every Indian restaurant in Poland, and this one tops the lot. The butter chicken here is outstanding, and perfectly complimented with mango lassi and giant, greasy naans. The Indian chefs operating in the open kitchen clearly know every trick in the cookbook, and they’ll happily vary the spice level from mild to nut-tingling. It’s a cracking venue as well, with scarlet walls, whirring fans and shimmery fabrics ensconcing the eight tables found within. Unmissable.

Tried this place last night and was really pleased with the results. Great atmosphere and choice of furnishings. I had a Chicken Kodai and my partner went for the Chicken Masala. Both very happy with the food. Having tried Indian restaurants before in Poland and been very disappointed this gave me what I was looking for. Really good choice on the menu and there is even a Chinese Indian fusion section. Only thing I found slightly disappointing is I could find no trace of poppadums or a chutney tray but that is a very minor whinge.

"Ethnic eating in Łódź usually ends in food poisoning"Xenophobic nonsense. No it doesn't. Rather than making sweeping and untrue allegations and generalisations try backing up your bizarre comments with hard facts. Somehow I don think you will coming up with anything to support such ridiculous and juvenile assertions.

I enjoyed my first experience in Ganesh last week. A colleauge and myself had an excellent meal, the service was friendly and helpful even although the place was busy (Saturday night). I will be making the two hour trip frequently to get a true taste of Indian food.
