Scan the horizon of the New Town and chances are you’ll find your eyes settling on the Gothic shape of the Church of the Visitation of St Mary. Built in the 15th century on the whim of a Mazovian princess this brick beauty allegedly stands on the site of an ancient pagan place of worship. Extensively remodelled over the centuries it was rebuilt true to its original form after WWII.
