One of the largest pre-war department stores in Europe - and the only one of its kind remaining - this magnificent consumer showpiece was added to the Register of Historical Monuments in 1977 and has been recently restored and modernised for today's retail market. The unique 1930s facade of ceramic tiles and gilded heads has been returned to its former glory while inside you'll find today's most cutting-edge brands - TK Maxx, New Look, River Island, Empik, Alma, Zara -  and a third floor restaurant with fine views of the Old Town. In addition to the original building's refurbishment, a new modern wing has been added on Plac Czysty. Easily outclassing the city's other shopping malls and smack in the centre, if it was in our disposition to call a shopping mall a must-see attraction, this would fit the bill.

  I went to Renoma today and it was a very nice mall but the shops were nothing to really brag about. There was a Levi's shop. One guide mentioned something about Gucci so I expected actual brand-name shopping like Bvlgari and Hermes. There was not a Gucci store in that mall. The one positive thing was that the bathroom on the 3rd or 4th floor was the cleanest that I have ever seen in Poland and this is my 5th trip here. I'd go back for the free toilet alone. Take a seat!!!
