Sixteen Tons

Authentic feeling English pubs don't have to shout about it, you know when you walk in that something just feels right. Like here for instance. The 16 tonnes home brewed beer, a smooth tasting light ale, goes down sweetly and the stained glass windows and corralled seating makes everything indubitably atmospheric. The place, which is already huge, has still got quite an intimate feeling and buzzes with actors, students, journalists and the odd passing tourist. Upstairs is a space devoted to large big name concerts which becomes a dancing club later on.

Admission to concerts 300-3,000Rbl.

Went there for a females jazz concert last weekend! Good snacks and finger food. Will definitely come back. The waiters in the pub are very friendly, but some upstairs seem not like working there at all, very offensive behavoiur towards people who want to order beer (I would say: fire them).
