Pust, or the Slovenian version of the Slavic Carnival is finally here! Originally a pagan holiday, then turning into a big party before the 40 day “postenje”, fasting or stop being such a greedy carnivore right before Easter-time. While families in the capital are going to the Dragon Parade and all serious festival goers will be at Kurentovanje, what is left for us, the night roisterers? Where are we going to flaunt our creative and sexy outfits? Where would Kurent, the Slavic Dionysus, the hairy god of excess and hedonism choose to party on the 16nd of February?
